Lazarus Alliance partners with PluriME to provide PCI assessment, cyber security and compliance policies, and penetration testing.
Scottsdale, AZ, January 16, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Lazarus Alliance announces its partnership with tech start-up PluriME, which is developing the world’s first patented, self-learning business ecosystem. Lazarus Alliance will help PluriME create its cybersecurity and compliance policies and provide the company with PCI assessments and penetration testing.
A PCI assessment is an audit for validating compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). All businesses that accept, process, store, or transmit credit card information are required to comply with PCI DSS. As a PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company, Lazarus Alliance has been approved by the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) to measure organizations’ compliance with the PCI DSS audit standard.
"PluriME had been looking for a premier PCI partner and Lazarus Alliance was recommended to us by a trusted colleague. We received only the very best care and support and would recommend Lazarus Alliance to anyone looking to up their cyber security."
Roland Schoettle, CEO, PluriME
“PCI compliance is time-consuming and complex, and Lazarus Alliance specializes in providing our clients with scalable, efficient solutions for meeting the rigorous demands of PCI compliance,” said Michael Peters, CEO of Lazarus Alliance.
PluriME chose Lazarus Alliance because of its Proactive Cyber Security™ PCI DSS audit methodology, which takes a continuous audit approach that takes just a few weeks, eliminates end-of-reporting-period “audit anarchy,” and utilizes Continuum GRC's IT Audit Machine (ITAM) technology to streamline the compliance process.
"PluriME had been looking for a premier PCI partner and Lazarus Alliance was recommended to us by a trusted colleague. We received only the very best care and support and would recommend Lazarus Alliance to anyone looking to up their cyber security," said Roland Schoettle, CEO of PluriME.
PluriME will use ITAM to significantly lower their compliance expenses, shorten their overall assessment cycle, and reduce the time and resources spent on compliance so that they can focus on their core competency: developing the world’s first self-learning branding, marketing, selling, and business ecosystem.
“PluriME is a brand-new business that’s still in the pre-launch stage, and we’re excited to help them get off on the right foot with their PCI compliance,” said Peters.
In addition to conducting the company’s PCI assessment, Lazarus Alliance is also performing penetration testing and helping PluriME develop its internal cyber security and compliance policies.
“The biggest security vulnerability in any organization is its people,” said Peters. “All organizations need to have a comprehensive cyber security policy and train their employees in cyber security best practices. By doing this from the beginning instead of waiting for a breach to happen, PluriME is setting itself up for cyber security success.”
